Chokma Solution: Pioneers in Data Center Cooling

At Chokma Solution, we lead the way in cutting-edge data center cooling technology. Our expertise lies in three critical areas: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), the Chiller Plant Optimization System, and Chilled Water Buffer Tanks. These advanced solutions drive unparalleled efficiency and sustainability within data centers. Our impressive achievements include up to 90% water reduction, a 40% decrease in power consumption, significant carbon emissions reduction, an 84% cut in cooling costs, and up to 40% per kW of ITE (Information Technology Equipment) power reduction. With Chokma Solution, data centers can operate at peak performance while minimizing their environmental impact.

CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)

Understanding Airflow and Heat Transfer: CFD utilizes data analysis, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles to model the behavior of fluids (including gases) around solid surfaces.
By simulating airflow and temperature, CFD helps data center teams visualize how air moves within the facility. This capability allows them to identify areas where airflow and temperature need adjustments.

Inside ICT (Information and Communications Technology) hardware: CFD models cooling airflow through servers, adiabatic wetted pads, chiller cooling coils, and other components.
Room-level modeling: CFD assesses airflow through raised floors, ventilated tiles, cold aisles, and hot aisles, optimizing cooling efficiency. In summary, CFD empowers data center operators to make informed decisions about airflow management, ensuring efficient cooling and equipment performance.

CPOS (Chiller Plant Optimization Systems)

Variable-Speed Components: CPOS leverages all variable-speed components within the chilled water system: chillers, pumps, and fans.
By dynamically adjusting their speeds, CPOS optimizes energy consumption based on real-time cooling demands.

Direct Control Strategy: Power-based relational control sequences the variable-speed components intelligently, minimizing wasted energy. This strategy not only reduces operational costs but also improves reliability, redundancy, and system lifespan.

Energy Savings and Carbon Footprint Reduction: The cooling system accounts for over 50% of a data center’s total power usage.
CPOS can achieve an additional 40% to 60% energy savings in best-in-class variable-speed chilled water systems. As heat load densities increase, efficient chilled water transport becomes crucial, making CPOS a game-changer

CWBT (Chilled Water Buffer Tanks)

Additional Volume and Temperature Control: CWBTs act as key components, providing extra water capacity in closed water systems.
By storing excess chilled water, they reduce compressor cycling, leading to more consistent temperature control.
During power outages or chiller downtime, CWBTs ensure a steady supply of chilled water to critical equipment.

Enhanced Reliability and Flexibility: CWBTs enhance system reliability and redundancy.
In case of chiller failure or power interruptions, stored chilled water continues to cool IT equipment.
These tanks allow flexibility in updating or replacing cooling equipment while the data center remains operational
